SYNOPSIS:
All the Byrons are just as “mad, bad, and dangerous to know” as their famous non-relation . . . but now the time has come for the eldest son to marry . . .
Edward Byron, Duke of Clybourne, has everything a man in Society needs . . . except a wife. Duty requires he wed, so he decides that a long-standing arranged marriage will do nicely. He knows his bride is beautiful, biddable, and bright enough to run his household and nursery. He expects his betrothed, Lady Claire Marsden, will be thrilled with his decision—unfortunately, she’s not!
Claire has longed for Edward since she was sixteen, but how can he expect her to agree to his proposal when he barely knows her and doesn’t love her? Nothing will convince her to accept a loveless marriage. And so she begins a battle of outrageous resistance, forcing Edward to learn that he must lose his heart in order to win his bride.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Tracy Anne Warren grew up in a small central Ohio town. After working for a number of years in finance, she quit her day job to pursue her first love—writing romance novels. Warren lives in Maryland with a pair of exuberant, young Siamese cats and windows full of gorgeous orchids and African violets. When she’s not writing, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and dreaming up the characters for her next book.

MY THOUGHTS:

Ahh, the time of pre-arranged marriages.  When people were forced to marry whether love was involved or not.  Sometimes we get lucky to find a regency romance that we actually care about.  With the latest from author Tracy Anne Warren, you will find yourself head over heels in love with Edward and Claire.  Edward is all about duty and fullfilling his obligations.  Clire is determined to make marriage as difficult as possible for him.  We slowly see the couple grow to love eachother.  A great regency romance that will also leave you with a smile after reading the witty humor as well.

MY RATING:

Very Good! Worth Spending Your Money on!
