SYNOPSIS:
You can make your heritage a blessing . . . or a curse.
Olm took a shortcut through an ancient ritual and conjured more than he bargained for.
Dunny was born with a sixth finger that held a power to find things . . . to know things.
Now in the dark bayous of Louisiana two small children are missing and only Dunny has the power to find them . . . to save them.
They called her for help
They called her to stop him.
They called her . . . WATER WITCH
MY TAKE:
When you take at the spooky cover, what comes to your mind? I see something scary down on the bayou. The cover alone sends chills down my spine. The main character of this story is born with a special gift. Dunny is born with an extra finger which gives her the ability to find certain things. She has kept this ability for a secret until her sister, Angelle, needs her help to find two missing children. This was a good read up until the end. The author could have explained things better and finished up some loose ends. Overall a good book for a rainy day, and one I would pass on to others.
MY RATING:
A Good Book and Read!
