SYNOPSIS:

MY THOUGHTS:

I usually like books by this author. She always has the perfect blend of steamy sex and romance.  This book though, was disappointing.  I just could not bring myself to care about any of the characters.  They had no spark and the plot was very thin.  Yes, it is supposed to be an erotic book, but sometimes sex just isn’t enough to keep one reading.  Each character seemed to be shallow and uninteresting. 

Not a book I would recommend if you are looking for any type of story mixed into the sexual scenes.  I will still read more of this authors works, but hopefully they will be better than this book!

MY THOUGHTS:
I know I should have read this tory in order, but the wait list at the library didn’t think I should.  When I had heard about this book, everyone had said it was a scorcher!  Well, the hot sex scenes did burn up the pages, but other than that,  this book fell flat for me.
I loved the bones of the book.  It had greatness just in the blurb in my opinion.  The plot could have been wonderful.  Once I started reading it though, it just wouldn’t click for me.  The characters of Janey and Alex were to forced and never caught a spark in my mind.  They seemed boring.  Janey was all over the place and Alex was too pushy.  
Now, I will say that maybe if I had read the book in the order it was meant to be read, I might have felt better about the characters. With that being said, I will wait for the first in the series to arrive and read it.  If I like it, I will reread this again to see if the book will come to life to me then.

MY THOUGHTS:

I am a fan of this authors work, but I know with my review on this book, the comments will Slay Me! 
While I loved the idea behind this book, the characters were annoying to me.  I couldn’t stand how stupid and wreckless Aisling was, the mean demeanor of Drake was annoying-even if he is a Dragon, and the love scenes were even worse.  The only saving grace in this book for me was Jim the demon dog, who has a witty and comical mouth on him.  His love affair with Cecile a dog, was comical and I looked forward to reading about Jim more than the main characters.  This is one series I don’t think I will be able to continue reading.

MY THOUGHTS:
When I picked this book up from a used book store, I thought the cover was playful, the synopsis was cute, and I thought it would be an all around good book. While the plot seems like it would be a cute read,  the story was not as great as you would think.
 It starts out as a good read.  Then, about halfway through the book, it just gets to corny and dumb. It was a shame, because the author could have made this story so great.  I just couldn’t bring myself to care what happened to any person in the book.  You see her best friend only a couple of times and the Gods are just ridiculous!  The writing is repetitive and drawn out, and the characters are shallow at times as well.
Overall, this book would fair better with a pre-teen reading it than a young adult or adult. They might enjoy it more.
