MY THOUGHTS:
Book 3 in the Buckhorn Brothers series by Lori Foster.
I LOVED this book! This, so far, is my favorite.  Gabe and Elizabeth’s romance was so sweet and romantic, I almost melted reading it.  Gabe is the sweet talking player of the bunch.  He doesn’t think Elizabeth is anyone he would ever see himself with though.  She is described as homely and ordinary.  Of course we should have expected it to be someone like her that would snatch this brother up. 
I really enjoyed how sweet Gabe was when he was near Elizabeth. He was still playful, but he found himself falling for the ordinary girl.  This was a sweet a quick read and I was looking forward to reading this book from the beginning.  The author certainly knows how to write romance that touches your heart.

Morgan seemed to think she was some sort of femme fatale, out to seduce his brothers. But seduction was the last thing on her mind. Foremost was the baby she was secretly carrying. And then, how to avoid the sexual sparks flying between her and Morgan.
MY THOUGHTS:
I love this series! This is the second book in the authors Buckhorn Brothers series.  I have now read Sawyer and Jordan and loved them both.  This book though, was not one of my favorites of the series.  While I loved how the author included all the characters from the first book,  I just couldn’t bring myself to enjoy Morgan and Misty.  I do love how Misty could get in Morgan’s face though and set him straight though.  The things she said could be so witty and funny! 
The romance between them though just didn’t click for me.  I just could not bring myself to care for Morgan as much as I did for the others. Maybe it was because he was so grouchy all the time.  The author still has done a wonderful job with her writing though and the book flowed nicely.  
Overall, I will still continue the series, and I will still continue to read more from the author.

MY THOUGHTS:
This book is the first in the Buckhorn Brothers series by Lori Foster.  I had read Jordan by Lori Foster awhile back and realized it was a series, so of course I had to read them all. 
All I can say is where is Buckhorn and where can I find these brothers?  They are sweet and caring, yet masculine and HAWT!  Sawyer is the oldest of four brothers with a son who is in his teens.  While Sawyer and his son are out fixing their fence on their property, Honey Malone comes crashing through that fence and landing in their lake.  They rescue her and Sawyer instantly has an attraction to her.  He tries to fight it, but he finds he is falling in love with her each day she is around.  Honey is on the run, fearing someone is stalking her. She doesn’t know why, but Sawyer is determined to find out why.
All of the brothers pitch in to help and are laughing at the way Sawyer is fighting the chemistry he has for Honey.  The brothers are all different with great personalities, but Sawyer is the one brother she can’t stop thinking about.  They all pull together to help Honey, with humor, witty dialogue and romance all thrown in with suspense. 
I loved this book. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series and grabbing up as much of this author’s books as I can.

MY TAKE:

I so needed a break from paranormal books for the moment. Off I went to the library and found this book. A true romance novel! Hot male? Check. Needy female? Check. Romance? Check. What really caught my attention in this book is the actual romantic story. It was a story that captured true characters that you would see in everyday life. Georgia was a single mom of 2 small children with her mom living with her who is sick. She worked as a dancer at a bar to make ends meet. Jordan was a well respected, single male of the town, and of course as in all romance novels, sexy to boot! He was even a Veterinarian. He falls in love with Georgia as soon as he meets her, and likewise when she meets him. She struggles with depending on a man to take care of her family and he struggles with wanting to be a family man instead of staying a bachelor. Typical romance and just what I needed. There are a few steamy scenes, but I like those. Just putting it out there in case you don’t like those kind of scenes. This book moved along smoothly and now I must find the rest of the books in this series.
