If you are a regular reader of my blog, you know that my 5 year old daughter Allison has been diagnosed with
Alopecia Areata. Basically it is an autoimmune disease that attacks the hair roots and causes hair loss. You can read more about it HERE.
Well, my wonderful Aunt wanted to help. She had a friend that is involved with The Hat Box Foundation. It is a foundation of many wonderful people who make hats for cancer patients who have lost their hair. You can read about the program HERE.
We received a packaged of these beautiful hats, which are wrapped up so nice, and we wanted to take some pictures to show everyone. This is my first time posting pictures of my family on my blog. So Allison was thrilled to pose and ham it up for the camera! I present to you Allison modeling her new hats!!

Gorgeous hats for a gorgeous girl. Maybe she’s going to be an actress? She certainly has her affectations down!
Thanks for sharing this story.

Very beautiful! And so nice of the foundation! I had a good friend that I worked with whose niece was diagnosed with the same condition your daughter has. Kids can be so cruel, but when they see the nice hats she has, they will all be jealous! LOL
