It was sixteen years ago today that I got to hold my first child. I was suppose to be going in to see if she had finally decided to turn into the correct position and I was already having small contractions. Needless to say, she was stubborn and still in the wrong position — she was breech. The doctor looked at me and asked if I wanted to wait until full blown labor and have a C-Section then, or if I wanted to have one right then. Tough decision, but I instantly knew I wanted to bypass those labor pains!
So at 1:48pm, Morgan arrived with barely a cry and brought tears to my eyes. She weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and only 18 and half inches long. Today marks the 16 year mark of her birth and I can’t believe it. She has grown into a wonderful young woman, and she is a great sister to Madison and Allison. I love you Morgan and I am so proud of you! Here are to many more birthdays and I am sure many more tears I will shed as you grow.
