SUMMARY
(From Goodreads)

Though the Mage witch, Skye, has a gentle heart, demonic forces have enslaved her, forcing her to kidnap Paenther, a powerful and dangerous Feral Warrior. Even chained and naked, Paenther is a cunning prisoner who seduces her, body and soul, turning captive into captor.

Paenther’s pride demands revenge against the enchantress who emerged from the deep woods like a sensual vision and enthralled him, even as she makes his body burn with passion. Despite his fury over her treachery, Skye’s gentle beauty calls to his soul, calming the wild chaos within him, and stealing his heart. But when evil threatens, Paenther and Skye’s only chance at survival is to trust in one another…and the power of love.

MY THOUGHTS

I have to say, first thing, that this is my favorite of the series so far.  Author Pamela Palmer brought everything to this book.  Sex, romance, suspense, drama, witty dialogue, and a great plot are just a few things you will find within the pages of the third installment in the Feral Warriors series.

We start with Paenther being imprisoned in a cave.  He comes face to face with the Mage witch that tricked him and captured him.  Paenther has a past with Mage witches and can’t stand them.  His hatred for them is worse than any of the other Feral Warriors because of this.  Without going into too much detail in the why of this, I will say that I can understand how he is feeling.  What he doesn’t expect is how Skye is different than other Mage.  She is a gentle soul and one that is pure.  What she is doing is not by choice, but one of force in which she has no understanding of what can come from her actions.  If she doesn’t do what she is told, Skye is forced to endure extreme torture and pain.

I loved seeing the softer side of Paenther in this book.  Yes he is strong and definitely a Warrior to be feared, but he is also gentle when needed.  He starts to realize what has happened and starts to fall for the Mage witch.  While he starts to bring Skye into his world a little bit,  he doesn’t give his full trust to her until you least expect it.

The battle is just beginning to erupt within the Warrior and Mage war to free the evil into the human world.  This is one fight you won’t want to miss!  Allies are aligning with each, troubles are arising within both groups, and romance is found where you least expect it.  One of the best books in the series so far!

MY RATING

Outstanding book that will stay on my bookshelf for rereading!

SUMMARY
(From Goodreads)
They are called Feral Warriors-an elite band of immortals who can change shape at will. Sworn to rid the world of evil, consumed by sorcery and seduction, their wild natures are primed for release . . .

Every time she closes her eyes, Delaney Randall suffers another nightmare. A brutal serial killer has found his way inside the tough, take-no-prisoners FBI agent’s head. Now she lives the murders through his eyes, from his deadly approach to his victims’ screams-until the night he breaks into her apartment and she fears she’s going to be the next to die.

But the man who snatches Delaney from her home isn’t the murderer. He’s Tighe, a dangerous Feral Warrior who needs her and her visions to stop the rampages of a creature as inhuman as he is evil. Tighe has little use for humans, but as he and Delaney join forces to track the dark fiend, he falls for the intense beauty and becomes wild with an obsession as untamed as his heart.
MY THOUGHTS

Obsession Untamed is the second book in the Feral Warriors Series by Pamela Palmer.  After an exciting first book, I was anxious to pick up where we left off.  I had a soft spot for Tighe after Desire Untamed since he seemed to be like a big brother to Kara.  He was sweet, but he was just as strong and vicious as Lyon when needed.

This book certainly took it up a notch — especially in the violence.  I will say that some scenes were graphic and might not be for all readers.  The kitchen scene in particular with the Clone and Delaney was pretty graphic in a sexual nature and might have some readers closing the book.  I on the other hand, decided to keep going and was surprised that it didn’t really bother me as much as I thought it would.  I didn’t think the author was going to address the scene in future scenes.  I wanted Delaney to deal with the bottled up emotions from the event, and eventually she does.  The reader just has to be patient for it.

I liked the side story of Paenther and Foxx as well.  While the rest of the warriors are working on tracking the clone and helping restore Tighe’s soul, Paenther and Foxx are out looking for the lost Feral Warrior Vhyper.  While they don’t find him in this book,  something does happen to set up the story for the next book in the series.

I also liked the friendship that evolved between Kara and Delaney.  I could see these two becoming best friends and leaning on each other when needed —  especially with all the testosterone in the Feral House.

If I had one major complaint it would be the repeated cat and mouse game between Tighe and the clone.  It became repetitive and dragged the story quite a bit.  Even with this complaint though, the characters and world that the author created has kept me interested in the whole series.  I have even started to become attached to one of the characters and can’t wait to see his book arrive.

MY RATING

Very Good! I would recommend this book!

SYNOPSIS:

Vampire Valentine by Lynsay Sands
Mirabeau LaRouche knew she had a job to do, but she never expected her assignment to take her through New York City′s dark, dank underground-in her bridesmaid gown, no less! And when her partner turns out to be mortal private investigator Tiny McGraw, Mireabeau knows it′s no ordinary Cupid′s arrow that has struck her heart this Valentine′s Day.

Hearts Untamed by Pamela Palmer
Ten years ago Zeeland left D.C. to join the Therian Guard, needing to put some distance between himself and the still-too-young Julianne. Now he′s returned, in the midst of a Valentine′s celebration to find Julianne more beautiful than ever, still angry at him for leaving, and up to her lovely eyebrows in an intrigue that threatens both of their immortal lives.

Kiss and Kill Cupid by Jamie Rush
Kat Morgan has no use for Valentine′s Day, since hearing other people′s thoughts puts a real damper on any kind of intimate relationship. When she overhears the Killer Cupid serial killer targeting her for his Valentine′s Day murder, Kat is terrified. But is Adrian, the one man whose thoughts she can′t hear, her savior, or killer?

MY THOUGHTS:

I am a HUGE fan of Lynsay Sands and was so excited to finally get to read Tiny’s story.  I am so glad the author decided to pair him with Mirabeau.  The story was cute and a perfect little read for Valenitine’s Day. I only wish it would have been longer. I kind of felt cheated out of a large story for them, but I understand she had to make it short for the book.  Even though it was short and to the point, the author made sure to give us our fix of the Argeneau family and keep us on the edge of our seats for the next installment in the series! You can’t go wrong with her books!

In Hearts Untamed, I got a new paranormal experience.  The basis of it was still romantic, but it still had a paranormal plot that wasn’t the widely popular vampire or werewolf story.  It had a whole new take on a whole new race.  This one seemed to drag a bit for me, but I think it was because it was a new paranormal plot that was weird for me.  The plot and writing was well done, but this was probably my 3rd place story in the book.

Kiss and Kill Cupid was outstanding. I loved the hero and heroine.  They instantly had a connection and I could feel it in the writing.  I was sad that this story was so short as well.  The author does mention that it will continue in a series she is writing, so that made me excited.  This was a new to me author and I was thrilled to find her writing witty and suspenseful!  Clearly, this author has found her knack for writing paranormal!
