SYNOPSIS:
The first mistake Karen Delaney made was entrusting $300,000 to her boyfriend, Samir, the head of an illegal bookmaking operation. MY TAKE:
As soon as I read the first chapter, I was sucked into a world of suspense and mystery! This book has opened my eyes to another author who can capture the true meaning of writing a suspense filled mystery with ease! Some parts of the book are funny. Just when you think that Karen doesn’t have a brain in her head, she turns around and thinks she can be a genius. Trust Me was a refreshing read and has great plots and twists!

MY TAKE:

When you take at the spooky cover, what comes to your mind? I see something scary down on the bayou. The cover alone sends chills down my spine. The main character of this story is born with a special gift. Dunny is born with an extra finger which gives her the ability to find certain things. She has kept this ability for a secret until her sister, Angelle, needs her help to find two missing children. This was a good read up until the end. The author could have explained things better and finished up some loose ends. Overall a good book for a rainy day, and one I would pass on to others.

MY TAKE:
I love coffee. Every morning I enjoy at least 2 cups with my hubby before he must take off to work. I love the smell. When I was little I can remember my mom taking me to the grocery store and I would love to stop at the coffee grinder section and just sit and smell the coffee beans. Now that I am older, I still do it. It amazes me how many different kinds of coffee there is out there. Also, there are so many ways to make it. Capuccino, espresso, fraps, decaf, regular, and the list goes on! This book will give you the definitions of the terms, little recipes to make with coffee, and quotes from various people. Very cute and humorous quotes are also throughout the book. Perfect little book for the coffee lover for the upcoming seasons!
