MY THOUGHTS:

Step away from the leftover holiday treats! Pack them up and hide them. Yes, even that decadent red velvet cake! Now take a look at the holiday muffin top you all know you got around the middle in jeans! I know it is easier to wear sweats and forget about how much the holidays have strained our waistlines, but if you are ready to lose some weight, then I recommend this book.

This book has wonderful and easy recipes, explanations of different body types and how to work with that body type, and great support! Now, if you happen to have a membership to a gym, then you will find the exercises in this book great! They are written with easy to follow instructions so even a beginner will understand all those evil machines we see there. Even if you don’t have a membership, I found that alot of the exercises can be adapted at home with little or no money at all. Weights can be substituted with can goods, and old phone books work great as a stair stepper for aerobics!

This book gives you the insight on how to get rid of those unwanted pounds that we have a hard time returning after the holidays.

The cover has a great quote on the front that was perfect!
“Being bad is so much better”

All three short stories were hilarious with the quick and witty humor! They are fast paced plots because there are 3 short stories all in one book. Each one though had me laughing so hard I thought I was going to pee my pants! My favorite though was the first story by Mary Janice Davidson. I love her writing with her smart mouth characters! If you need a laugh-out-loud chick lit book then this is the book for you!

MY THOUGHTS:

I was really disappointed with this book. The author has not let me down with a great story until this book. Emma is a weak heroine with hardly any backbone, and Jason is a stuck up hero who is just full of revenge. I can understand the hero’s personality but Emma was annoying. This book had plenty of smokin hot lovin, but not much story to back it up. It was an okay read, but not one of the author’s best. Again, she leaves you hanging with secondary characters with half a story, which makes me believe that she is wanting to write those characters a book of their own. Hopefully this author can redeem her great writing skills in a follow up book to this.
