MY THOUGHTS:

Ahh, the time of pre-arranged marriages.  When people were forced to marry whether love was involved or not.  Sometimes we get lucky to find a regency romance that we actually care about.  With the latest from author Tracy Anne Warren, you will find yourself head over heels in love with Edward and Claire.  Edward is all about duty and fullfilling his obligations.  Clire is determined to make marriage as difficult as possible for him.  We slowly see the couple grow to love eachother.  A great regency romance that will also leave you with a smile after reading the witty humor as well.

MY THOUGHTS:

When I first started reading the first chapter of this book, I couldn’t help but chuckle.  Finding out your husband is wanting to be a woman and dress like one is bad enough, but to actually walk in on him wearing makeup, heels and a feather boa would be disturbing yet comical.  Throughout the book, the author keeps you on the edge of your seat with suspense, heart a flutter with love, and fogging up your computer screen with the sex. This is the second book I have read from this author, the first being a paranormal read.  Ms. Bush has now proven herself as a contemporary romance writer as well. Plus, look at the cover! Yum!  Another great author waiting to hit the big time.

I was sitting here trying to write on my computer because I have been secretly writing my own book.  I was pretty proud of my first chapter and let my hubby read it.  He loved it. I hit save and closed it out.  Then when I went to bring it back up, it didn’t freaking save it!!!!  The whole last half of the chapter gone!!!

OMG!!! Torture! Now I have to try and remember what I wrote while I actually had a creative moment.

Microsoft Word sucks sometimes!!!!

MY THOUGHTS:
If you are looking for a steamy read, a little suspense, and an easy read, then this is the book. The sex scenes were steamy and hot.  The author offered some suspense with the diamond stealing and stalker. The plot was pretty bland though.
I loved how we got a small glimpse of the hero’s life when he was little at the beginning of the book. It made his obsession with the heroine believable.  What I didn’t like is how the hero portrayed his feelings for the heroine as more lust than love.  The story is predictable.  The ending is predictable. But, if you look past that and read it, the book was pretty good.  I enjoyed their dialogue and the way he was protective of her.  I love how the heroine has overcome grief and still made a life for herself.

MY THOUGHTS:
Don’t you just love this cover? It is so sweet with that innocent baby and the wings of the gaurdians on it!
With realistic situations and well written dialogue, this book is a sweet read that will touch your heart. The characters are great and they will keep your interest throughout the book. You will go through many emotions when reading this book including love, hate, frustration and sadness.  The only thing I didn’t like was the way the POV was written.  I would have liked it to have been one character throughout the book.  Also there was alot of detail and not enough dialogue.  Otherwise, it was a great quick read.
